Academic Difficulty Reduced Course Load
- The DSO (OVIS advisor) may authorize a reduced course load for a student in their first term of study for the following reasons:
- Initial difficulty with the English language or reading requirements
- Unfamiliarity with U.S. teaching methods
- Improper course-level placement
- Authorization must happen before the student drop below full-time enrollment
