OVIS is hosting a "Life After Dartmouth" information session for international graduate students in the Arts & Sciences on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 12pm to 1pm ET. During the session we will cover nonimmigrant visa options for employment after graduation, including F-1 OPT/STEM OPT, the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program, H-1Bs, L-1s, O-1s and TNs.
The session will be offered in a hybrid format. There is limited space, so in person participation will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. The in-person meeting will take place at OVIS – 63 South Main Street, Suite 303 – on the third floor of the Bank of America building in downtown Hanover. Zoom link TBA.

This information session will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 12:10pm to 1:10pm EST, and is intended for international students in the Tuck School of Business. Location: Cook Auditorium at Tuck School
Directions to Cook: Enter the main entrance to the Irving Center, and walk straight into the Atrium. Take the stairs to the left down one flight, then proceed straight (watch for the Cook sign above the doorway). The doors to Cook are straight ahead, either up or down the stairs.
This workshop will be conducted by Arthur Kerr, international tax attorney with the firm of Vacovec, Mayotte & Singer, LLP, in Newton, Massachusetts.

In celebration of International Education Week (November 13-17), our annual coffee hour will take place from on Thursday, November 16 in the OVIS Conference Room at 63 S. Main St. (3rd Floor, Bank of America Building).

At this session, Susan Ellison, Director of OVIS, will give an overview of U.S. employment-based visa options after OPT and STEM OPT (H-1B, TN, LPR, etc.), including criteria for eligibility, the visa petition process, timing, and issues around maintenance of status.
