Undergraduate students with specific D-Plan questions should schedule a 1:1 advising session with your designated OVIS advisor. OVIS is hosting an in-person information session with immigration attorney Dan Berger on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 5pm in Filene Auditorium. During the session we will talk about recent immigration-related federal government executive orders and other actions impacting international students and scholars at Dartmouth and universities across the U.S. You can submit a question in advance here. OVIS invites you to attend an information session on entrepreneurial activities and international students. The session will focus on entrepreneurial activities and their impact on F-1 student status during the degree program and after graduation. The session will also cover other nonimmigrant visa categories that might be used after graduation, and recent legislative and policy changes related to entrepreneurship. Representatives from the Thayer School, Tuck, Geisel and the Magnuson Center will participate, along with Dartmouth's outside immigration counsel. The session is open to international undergraduate and graduate students.

The Office of Visa and Immigration Services (OVIS) and the International Student Experience (ISE) office are hosting a "Know Your Rights" session, presented by the NH affiliate of the ACLU. The session will take place on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 4pm in Cook Auditorium at the Tuck School (Tuck School map). The session is open to students, faculty and staff. The presenters will discuss topics including the state of DACA, ICE and other government agency visits, family preparedness, and how the ACLU is supporting immigrant communities.
