After arrival at Dartmouth College, F-1 and J-1 students must go through the official SEVIS check-in process with OVIS. Students who do not go through this process are at risk of losing their visa status.
Students are notified of their required SEVIS check-in time and location. All students will be required to submit a New Student Check-in e-form in iDartmouth prior to their check-in.
The Dartmouth College Health Service supports the well-being of Dartmouth students and staff through an extensive program of services and education.
Incoming undergraduate students will receive access to the system before Orientation and should follow instructions to access their health and immunization forms.
Specific insurance requirements are mandated by the Department of State (DOS) as to J-1 students. They are required to purchase Dartmouth Student Group Health Plan (DSGHP) insurance coverage. Contact the DSGHP office for more information.
