Federal District Court in Washington DC Dismisses Lawsuit Filed by the Washington Alliance of Technology Workers

On April 19, 2017 the federal district court in Washington DC dismissed a lawsuit filed on June 17, 2016 by the Washington Alliance of Technology Workers (WashTech) against the 12-month F-1 OPT rule and the 24-month STEM OPT rule.

The lawsuit was filed after the publication of the 24-month STEM OPT rule on May 10, 2016.
