New US-Mexico-Canada Agreement Maintains Provisions for TN Nonimmigrants

The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) reached on September 30, 2018 as part of the renegotiated North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) maintained the immigration provisions for the temporary entry of TN nonimmigrants.  TN classification is for citizens of Mexico and Canada who are coming to the U.S. to work for a U.S. employer in a qualifying professional occupation designated in the agreement.
