Presidential Proclamation suspending entry for certain nonimmigrant visa categories, including H-1B and certain J-1 Exchange Visitor categories

On June 22, 2020 the White House issued a proclamation continuing the Presidential Proclamation 10014 of April 22, 2020 entitled "Suspending Entry of Immigrants Who Present Risk to the U.S. Labor Market During the Economic Recovery Following the COVID-19 Outbreak."  The new proclamation suspends the entry of individuals in H-1B status and certain J-1 Exchange Visitor categories until December 31, 2020.  For more information go to OVIS's Federal Immigration Policy Changes webpage.
